Linux

We have successfully finish change over of our control systems to operating system Linux. Contrary to other operating systems this system is characterized by high stability, directness and favourable license policy. For our application we have created our own distribution of Linux comprehensive of only must parts of otherwise very extensive operating system. Moreover our distribution includes also Real-Time upgrade ensuring absolute priority of control application. Change over to Linux enabled to us except system stability increasing also opening of way for usage standard network protocols, supports of new HW equipment etc.

The works concerning technology A++ are in progress to keep software A++ compatible with the most strict standards for critical software IEC61508 and standards CENELEC for railway safety technique branch EN 50128. The works on support project and check out tools are going on – State Chart Editor, Database Editor, Scheme Editor, Test Bench…

Statistik

The software development department of První Signální, a.s. developed and presented the first version of support tool Statistik for statistical processing of service data. Now we work on upgrade version for graphic presentation of statistical data (for example transport moment in the station at time axis, rate of station tracks usage, comparison of service staff quality or technology undiscipline of individual station dispatchers).
